A common misconception is that “Coke sells itself”, however marketing and selling some of the world’s most recognised beverage and food brands takes a huge amount of planning, skill, leadership, passion and innovation to continue to drive profitable growth for the Coca-Cola Amatil business and our customers.
Our Strategy & Planning, Marketing, and Sales teams are responsible for getting both exciting new products and our fantastic existing products onto store shelves and into the hands of consumers. From using insights to plan the range of products we produce, developing new products and innovative marketing campaigns, to working with our customers to ensure our products are readily available to consumers, our Sales and Marketing teams are fundamental to our business.
Alongside the National and State based sales teams the National Sales Centre (NSC) provides a point of contact for both our customers and consumers. The 300 seat NSC provides customer service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 75% of the Coca-Cola Amatil customer base interacts through the NSC and they handle millions of customer interactions each year making it a dynamic and exciting part of the business. The NSC also coordinates our Equipment Services team, our experienced technicians who provide advice on how to care for equipment to keep it running efficiently, and call on our customers to repair, service and remove equipment.
Our range of customers includes Australia’s largest retail grocery stores; Woolworths and Coles, independent grocery outlets, petrol and convenience stores, as well as sporting arenas, hotels, restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs and even your local milk bar. This means we have a huge variety of roles and career opportunities within marketing, strategy and sales, the largest division in Coca-Cola Amatil.
